Head Shave in aid of Louisburgh Order of Malta

In January this year, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Together with family and friends, I hope to raise much needed funds for Louisburgh Order Of Malta who were first on hand to help and have been such a wonderful support to my family and I during the last 10 months.

Matthew, Yvonne, Martin and I will have our heads shaved on Saturday night 11th December in Joe Mac’s Bar Louisburgh.

Louisburgh Order of Malta

The Order of Malta Louisburgh was set up in 1998 as back-up to the HSE Ambulance Service. It is on call 24/7 covering from Murrisk to Thallabawn and down to Bundoragh. It’s a fully equipped Ambulance and manned on all calls by E.M.Ts The service covers all events in the parish including all GAA matches etc. It transfers approx. 95 emergency calls each year. It also gives First Aid courses with C.F.R to F.A.R courses to Basic First Aid and C.P.R. It has approx. 32 active members scattered all over the local area.
