Head Start in Harmony A Cappella Children festival

My name is John Wernega. I run a one-day festival in Salem County, NJ where children learn to sing four-part A cappella barbershop and perform a concert. There is no other event like this in the country, and possibly in the world. Our festival includes talented singers as young as kindergarten and as old as eighth grade. This is a free event for children who are talented singers. Events like this are inspiring to children and are sometimes life-changing events, pointing them toward exciting success. Singing four-part harmony is a very advanced skill for children, and this will be an opportunity to do this successfully.

Each child who performs receives a free T shirt, which is the uniform for the performance. The festival will be Salem Community College in Carney's Point, NJ on February 25, running from 11:30 AM until 4:00 PM. The cost for the use of the Davidow Theatre is $750. It will cost $200 to use the colleges riser stages. I am trying to find a school or chorus to let us use their choir risers, but that will require the cost of a U Haul truck to get them there and possibly a cost to hire a driver (we hope to find a vOlunteer if possible). We normally have fifty to sixty children attending. The best price we have so far for T shirts is $15.00 apiece, which will total $900.00 for sixty children. This is an estimate, and there could be more than sixty signing up. I will be shopping around for a better price, but at this point, this is the best I could find. If I could find a T shirt printing company that would donate the shirts that would greatly offset our expenses, and I will post an update if that happens. Please consider donating to this event.
