Healing, & Hope for Flo Saponaro

Hi family and friends! I am writing to ask for your love and support for our mother Flo Saponaro. It’s with great heartbreak and sadness that my brother Tony and I share the news that our mother has a very large brain tumor. It’s an aggressive tumor and has grown rapidly. It needs to be removed ASAP. There are alot of moving parts. Before her surgery… Her doctor needs to book the operating room for the allotted surgery time (7-8 hours). She will need another MRI, MRA, CT scans, 3D printed model of her skull she will possibly need replaced from her craniotomy, labs. Start oral dexamethosone steroids and start anti-seizure medication as preventatives to get her brain and body ready for the surgery in the next few weeks & decrease inflammation. She is under the care of a Great neurologist at Rochester Strong Memorial Hospitals neurosurgery team. We were very reluctant to start a gofundme but this has literally ripped the sails from us in many ways as you can imagine. Any funds raised will go toward bills, lodging, gas, aftercare, possible radiation to rid of any small tumor remaining and whatever costs need to be met for this whole situation. Please pray for my mom, for me & jose’ ,my brother & Alyssa, my kids, my nephews and my moms siblings and our family in general….this has been quite the shock for us all. Keep us in your thoughts for emotional, physical, sleep and mental health. My mother is and has always been a very strong woman. The unknown is very scary but we must remain positive.
