Help for my friend Felix

Hi, my name is Casey Marksberry and I'm raising funds for one of my oldest friends, Felix Cartagena.

Felix is a graduate of Owensboro High School, an Army veteran, currently residing in Gentry, Arkansas as an HVAC tech.

Recently, Felix began feeling horrible but put off going to the doctor because he couldn't afford to miss, coupled with the fact that he did not have health insurance, as he had not been with his employer long enough for coverage to begin.

Finally, he was convinced to seek medical attention, as the symptoms persisted longer than he could withstand. The news was not something a 46 year-old anticipated receiving: he needs triple-bypass heart surgery.

Felix is too proud to ask for assistance but I can tell he's stressed about missing work and falling further behind. Your donation will go to covering his living expenses while he recovers from the surgery, which is could stretch into several months.

Felix is a hard worker, but needs to take time while he recovers as his job is very labor intensive.
