Headstone for Jillian Collins Courcy
Donation protected
After 15 yrs of fighting the effects of Parkinson's Disease (PD), Jillian passed at home with her boys and mom this past September. She was 49 years old.
Jillian’s grave remains without a headstone. I’m hoping we can help to cover the costs to ease this burden for her family.
In high school, Jillian was friendly with everyone. Graduating as DR’s Class of ‘92 Senior Superlative “Sensational School Spirit"! She was a kind, energetic, and thoughtful person. She was faithful, loyal, fun, and very family orientated.
In 2018, we had a huge birthday party for Jillian's 45th birthday. She insisted that a 50th birthday party would not be possible. While she was sadly correct, her and her family's memories of this party remain a favorite.
Jillian was a wonderful mom. She always put Brady and Sam first. She attended their sporting events until she was physically unable. No cane, walker or wheelchair was holding her back from supporting her boys!
Parkinson’s disease is a male-dominated disease primarily affecting older men. Jillian’s early onset diagnosis at 32 yrs old, created a unique condition that forced her to have a hysterectomy. She then suffered through four separate brain surgeries in an attempt to help offset some of the symptoms of PD. These surgeries, while extremely painful, allowed her to have a better, more fulfilled life with her boys.
Jill and her sons lived on medical disability and child support. Immediately following her passing, those financial sources ended.
Jillian’s headstone costs are something we can help with. Jillian's sons and mom shouldn’t have to find these funds from the little they are left with. Please help fund her gravestone. Jillian's family has selected a stone. The quoted fees, including placement and engravings, are just under $5,000.
