Headstone for Lompoc’s Jane Doe

In 2002 mystery author Sue Grafton published Q is for Quarry, a mystery novel based on the true story of a Jane Doe found outside of Lompoc in 1969. Ms. Grafton paid to have the body exhumed in 2001 and a forensic reconstruction was done in the hopes that she would be identified. Over 20 years later, Jane Doe lies at rest in an unmarked grave in the Lompoc Cemetery and has still not been identified. We would like to purchase a headstone for her.
