Headwaters Protectors for houseless folks
Donation protected
We are the Headwaters Protectors. We provide compassionate water and trash services to people experiencing homelessness in Denver, CO. Our city's sharp rise in property and cost of living has led to an unaffordable housing crisis, and our public officials have ignored or denied the sustainable ways to offer safe and suitable accommodations and solutions for people. Meanwhile, the precarious situation of underserved individuals has led to higher rates of homelessness for people, including Veterans, people living with mental health disorders, and minimum wage workers.
There is a lot of work to do, and even small donations can make a meaningful difference.
We've been using all borrowed materials to provide clean drinking water to folks on the streets, and we're hoping to buy a trailer so we can utilize a more permanent set up. We'll also use these funds to meet people's immediate needs such as baby wipes, toilet paper, soap, medical supplies, trash bags, gloves, granola bars, cold weather clothing/sleep gear, wool socks, trash bags, gloves, etc.
Thank you all so much for your generosity and care!
