Heal the Howls; Pawsitive Action to Save Coyotes from Mange!
Tax deductible
An essential part of our ecosystem, coyotes play a crucial role in controlling rodent populations, which helps to prevent the spread of disease, protect our crops, and maintain environmental balance.
However, these intelligent animals face a growing threat: mange. This debilitating skin disease is often caused when coyotes eat poisoned mice, rats, and gophers. This weakens their immune systems, making them susceptible to parasitic mites that cause mange. The suffering these coyotes endure is heartbreaking. They lose their fur, shivering in vain attempts to maintain healthy body temperatures in the cold weather, develop painful sores, and slowly starve to death as they become too ill to successfully hunt.
We must act now to help these vital creatures. Our fundraiser aims to provide treatment for local Southern Cal coyotes suffering from mange and raise awareness about the dangers of introducing poisons into the environment by poisoning rodents. Please join us in protecting these incredible animals and preserving the health of our shared environment. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in the lives of coyotes and the well-being of our ecosystem.
