This is Chichi as she is fondly called. An amazing wife and a proud mother of two adorable girls.
In the later part of 2020, Chichi Odeigha was diagnosed with orbital meningioma brain tumor on both sides. Chichi urgently needs a right and left craniotomy with excision surgery to save her life and save the vision in her left eye. She has lost her right side vision due to the tumor, and needs your help to save her life and her left side vision.
Back in November 2013, Chichi began experiencing multiple seizures that occurred even in her sleep. After multiple doctor’s visits and tests, Chichi and her family received the shocking and devastating diagnosis of a brain tumor. She underwent surgery at the time which was successful. However, in 2015, her right eye began protruding and despite the use of steroids to manage her pain pending further diagnosis, by 2016, she had lost vision in that eye.
As the years went by, the doctors could not identify the cause of the protruded eye and she was left on steroids to give her some relief from the pain. In 2020, the protrusion in her eye got worse and her family began questioning the steroid treatment. Chichi then visited another eye doctor who recommended another MRI of the eye orbits. Several days later, she received a diagnosis from a neurosurgeon that will forever shake her - an orbital brain tumor on both sides.
Chichi has been in shock and constantly in tears after hearing this devastating news. She keeps thinking about her daughters who are just 4 years and 2 years old. Since her recent diagnosis, her family has been looking for funds so that Chichi can go in for surgery.
Her kids cannot understand why mummy keeps crying daily. Chichi’s greatest wish at this time is to be in good health to celebrate her second daughter’s 3rd birthday in April. She hopes that a successful surgery will finally allow her a chance to live a healthy life amongst her family and friends.
