Healing for Lily

To our beloved family and friends who are in constant prayer for Lily, I would like to offer some information of transparency with what is going on with her. I know there are many questions that I hope to offer answers to, as well as to assure you that your donation will go to the right hands.

Lily’s illness started out as a minuscule sinus infection but quickly turned into a life threatening infection of her brain, that has also found its way into her spinal fluid, causing meningitis. This infection caused pus pockets to form inside her brain cavity which then created dangerous levels of pressure. This pressure caused her blood vessels to go into spasms and constrict, reducing the blood flow to her brain. The restriction of blood flow caused her to have strokes, that Drs are now saying has caused some damage to her brain. Before Doctors made the decision to put her into a deeper sedation, she was able to move the left part of her body with some control. She did not show the ability to move her right side.

Lily has had several surgeries to remove the pus from her brain and sinuses as well as had a drainage tube inserted through her cranium to release fluids and prevent further unnecessary pressure.
Lily remains in critical condition and Drs are monitoring her every minute to control several issues including: heart rate, blood pressure, hormone levels, breathing and oxygen levels as well as pressures in her brain.
She is currently on several medications and is using a breathing machine. The biggest concern remains to be that she receive appropriate blood flow to her blood vessels while controlling the pressures in her brain.
Dr.’s anticipate more surgical procedures ahead for Lily.

We are asking for the continued uplifting and prayers on a complete healing and restoration of Lily’s mind and body. We understand that all may not be able to donate monetarily. We ask that you donate as God has blessed you, be it monetary, prayers or a get well card. All forms of donations will be greatly appreciated.
Monetary donations will go to Lilys family to help with financial obligations and anything Lily may need after her release from the hospital.
