Healing Love for Jennings & Keller

It takes a village.

Laurie and Dana are still recovering and need rest so please refrain for a week or so contacting them directly, they are both aware of your well wishes and are greatly appreciative.

It was brought to my attention by Nick Annis (yes, husband of Melanie for who I created a Gofundme about 18 months ago to help with her kidney transplant) that Laurie and Dana are both in the hospital with different ailments. Being independent musicians a medical issue could be devastating much less two. For years Jennings and Keller have given us the wonderful gift of their music, smiles, hugs and love. This fundraiser has been organized by many loving friends of theirs: Nick Annis, Melanie Hartford, Susan Moss, myself and many many more. In these times of turmoil and divisiveness, the one thing that stands strong above all else is our love and support for each other. Please help keep the music going, no amount is too small.

From Susan Moss, "For years, we have all enjoyed the tunes of Jennings & Keller gracing the stages of listening rooms across the country: Laurie's stunning voice, Dana's expert dobro and pedal steel, their smart and thoughtful lyrics, with accompanying stories. 

Through a crazy twist of fate, our dear friends Laurie and Dana are both in the hospital, she having suffered a ruptured appendix (and peritonitis as a result), requiring emergency surgery and strong antibiotics to fight the infection... and he with liver/kidney/diabetes issues. Crazy enough, their rooms are actually next door to each other... kinda sweet if it weren't so serious.

Laurie and Dana have given so very much of themselves, through their music and their commitment to social justice causes (playing in nursing homes, environmental benefits, teaching the incarcerated). Now it's our chance to give back to them. Please donate whatever you can to show your love and help defray the medical costs incurred and yet-to-be. As The Universe Unfolds indeed.
