Healing Michelle

Hello everyone!

As most of you may already know, I am raising money to help pay for the extensive medical bills due to my wife's illness.

The background on her illness is that Michelle was originally diagnosed with bladder cancer in May of 2017 and a small 1-2 cm tumor was removed. Another surgery was performed in July which was a resection surgery of the bladder. At this point Michelle opted to treat the illness with natural care through her Naturopath, while being monitored by her medical doctor.

In October 2018, after significant symptoms arose, Michelle decided to get another opinion from a Cedars-Sinai doctor and an orange sized tumor was found. She was admitted to the hospital for a week. Damage was done in the kidneys and they needed to be drained, as well. The surgeon inserted stents in her kidneys to help with the kidney function and shaved the tumor as much as possible.

They also found that the lymph nodes were swollen and the cancer had spread outside of the bladder into other organs. The surgeon informed us that Chemotherapy is required to shrink the swelling of the lymph nodes and that further surgery will be necessary to remove the organs that have been affected by this cancer. This would include the bladder, uterus etc. 

The surgeon has informed us that after these first rounds of Chemotherapy, he will check to see if the lymph nodes are responding well to the treatments. If they are, they will proceed with additional treatments to get the lymph nodes to “normal” size. Then the doctor will proceed with the necessary surgery to remove these affected organs.

Please pray that the Chemo shrinks the tumor and that the lymph nodes respond well to the Chemo. Also, pray that the cancer will not spread to other parts of her body.

We are confident that she is going to win this fight and with your prayers we will get through this. The outpouring of support and love has been such a blessing and has helped us immensely through this trying time.
