Healing support for the Taylor Family

My husband Chris has been in the hospital since mid October after a severe abdominal infection from his dialysis catheter led to 2 major surgeries and many, many complications including several abscesses and a bowel rupture. He is now fully TPN dependent (IV nutrition), has a large wound on his abdomen, and because he was bedridden for many weeks, he has lost all strength and can no longer stand unassisted. These complications have kept him in the hospital longer than anyone could have ever imagined with no end in sight. He will require extensive physical rehab to regain the ability to walk, but this is made harder by his need for dialysis, continuous TPN, and wound care. Once he has regained enough strength he will need another complicated abdominal reconstruction surgery to fix all of the damage done. With this hospitalization our family has lost my income. I have been paid as his caregiver on dialysis for the last 2 years and with him in the hospital that stopped immediately. This Go Fund Me was started with the hopes of easing the burden some as we also begin to make any necessary modifications such as a wheelchair ramp to the house and getting the supplies for his eventual homecoming.
