Healing the Healer - Hope for Linda Cooper

Linda Cooper is a healer in every sense of the word. We've witnessed her magnificence on multiple occasions, helping others in there time of need and being a beacon of hope for people needing help. And now the healer needs healing of her own and she needs your help.

Background:

After the Ontario Ice Storms of 2014 Linda was injured at work. She was a Canada Post carrier for 25 years and having to walk her route after the ice storms caused an injury that left her in a lot of pain and rendered her unable to do her job. Unfortunately bureaucracy and politics meant Canada Post delaying any kind of settlement so in order to make ends meet while recovering Linda sold her home and started her journey of personal healing. She did heal her injuries and walked away from litigation with her former employer with very little compensation because she's the kind of person who didn't see the point in giving her time to battling and she can find gratitude in any situation. Thankful for finding healing modalities she loved, she opted to let bygones be bygones and she moved on. She trained in Touch for Health, Reiki, the Quantum Change Process, NLP, Time Line Therapy, Hypnosis, German New Medicine and devoted herself to starting anew and earning her place in her community as a healer. She's been a pillar of strength and has touched the lives of everyone she meets. 

Linda has remained committed to others in their time of need, has been a s blessing in her community and to her family and has been unconditionally supportive and dedicated to this of us fortunate enough to know and love her.

Her diagnosis and why she needs our help:

18 months ago Linda found a lump in her breast and is living with a late stage breast cancer diagnosis. Her journey over the past year and a half has been excruciating and challenging to say the very least. Those of us who have watched the events unfold have had our hearts hurt with hers. She's now at a point where traditional western medicine can no longer help and where her doctors feel that continuing treatment will do more harm than good. Surgery is not an option either right now. 

Fortunately there is hope and that hope comes in the form of a combination of complementary and alternative treatments. These include nutrition based natural treatments, mind-body modalities, energy work, eastern medicine and acupuncture and other science-based modalities likeGerman New Medicine that have proven to help cancer patients defy the odds and experience spontaneous healing and radical remission. 

These are the same treatments that Linda found and used to heal from her injuries in 2014 and raising awareness around their efficacy has become her life's purpose. And now she needs them for herself. If this will work for anyone, it'll work for Linda. 

The biggest obstacle to proceeding with this comprehensive plan of action is finances. In order to provide the environment and the support she needs Linda will be immediately moving to home-based care where we intend to provide a positive, nurturing, well-equipped environment that it conducive to healing. The hospital has arranged to provide equipment and basic care. But we need HELP and we need it urgently.  

We are raising funds for:

• Additional support from personal service workers. Because the home care is in a rural area, we need to hire a live-in PSW. This is a full-time position and costs are entirely on Linda to cover and are well above wha her very supportive family can cover on their own. 

• Access to the best practitioners and costs of therapies and treatments including those listed above. 

• Supplies needed for home care

• Naturopathic, homeopathic and herbal remedies and treatments are fundamental to getting her strength up and treating symptoms. These alone are very costly and Linda has already had to suspend many of the supplements she was taking due to the financial drain

... there's likely many other costs that we haven't run into yet. 

This is a mission to help heal the most wonderful healer we know.  We're grateful to her doctors for doing what they've done for her. It's time to honour Linda's need and her desire to return to her roots and to her Truth and to give back to a woman who has given so much of herself.
