Mamma Giuliana's Heal Me Fund

For those of you who don’t know our mom, Giuliana is true angel. She has dedicated her entire life to selflessly taking care of others to make their lives better.

Eight weeks ago, she had mole removed on her skin and shortly after experiencing back pain. When she went to see the doctors for this pain, she got treated for a simple strain and was sent home. After weeks of severe pain and no relief, she returned to the doctors only to realize that she had been mis-diagnosed. What was supposed to be a simple mole removal had lead to a bacterial infection that spread to her spine. Weeks of medical negligence lead to the deterioration of two of her vertebrae which required an extremely invasive spinal surgery to separate discs and promote regeneration. Since the surgery, she has been unable to walk or really do anything alone.

Post surgery, the doctors said she will be in recovery for at least six months, and on medication for this spinal infection for the rest of her life. Giuliana will also be unable to continue her self-employed massage therapy business which she has supported herself on for ten years.

This entire journey has taken a serious toll on an incredible woman who can easily be described as one of the strongest people on this planet. Our hope with this page is to help my mom and to support her with her sky-rocketing hospital bills, rent and utilities while she is in recovery.
