Health Problems & Hard Times

Hi! This has been suggested to me repeatedly I was never willing to put myself out there and was really hopeful it wouldn’t get to this point. Unfortunately it has I am becoming desperate. Besides being embarrassed and humiliated to ask for help it me I feel like a complete failure. I made a post a few weeks ago just venting over my frustration trying to navigate a situation I have never been in before and a few beautiful souls convinced me I was worthy of asking for help. A little about myself… I moved to Frederick from NoVA 2yrs ago. March of this year my apt (total apt) flooded I missed 2 days of work trying to move things for the new carpet. Day 2 coming in the main door of my building I fell and busted my ribs. This started a chain effect of a laundry list of health issues some preexisting and some new which I am currently seeing multiple doctors for answers

and treatment plans. I am a server and have been unable to work since March and will probably never be able to serve again. I have applied for

numerous jobs that do not require physical labor with no luck as well as I have a disability claim in. I have sold every possible possession possible to make it this far. I have worked 1-2 jobs since I was 13yrs old, I have always had a home and at 53 this is becoming very difficult. As a server you don’t work you don’t get paid so I was evicted from

my apt and have been living in my car. I know just having a car I am better off then

most. The Religious Coalition was generous enough to get me a hotel for a few days

but with so many people struggling funds are tight or gone. To add insult to injury my car was the victim of a parking lot hit and run. I was able to remove the damaged pieces so it is drivable. At this point I know I am going to need 2 surgeries and so I am trying to get to my friends in NC she will help me recover and I will have a roof. over my head. If anyone is able to make a donation of any kind it would be greatly appreciated. Again thank you to those beautiful women who told me I worth asking for help. Bless all of you.
