Healthcare failures in Nova Scotia

Hi, my name is Peter and I am fundraising for my father who has been diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease. The wait times to see a Neurologist is 2+ years. He has been waiting on an MRI for 6 months so far and still no set date. He is unable to get medication for this disease as he needs to see a specialist. There are private clinics that only have a 2 week waiting period for all this and we want to try and get there but the problem is money as they are very expensive. He is unable to work because of this disease. Thank you in advance your help would be greatly appreciated so he can get the help he needs.
