Glenn J. Barquet, MD
“We are here to add what we can to life, not to get what we can from life,” stated Sir William Osler, one of the greatest physician educators in the history of medicine. When we think of Glenn, we realize that he was hard working, intelligent and humble. He had a lot of the attributes that patients search for in doctors: confidence, knowledge and the ability to give peace and reassurance even during times of a difficult diagnosis. He added to life by improving the lives of countless patients and doctors.
Dr. Barquet fought a tough battle against COVID 19, and even though he passed away on May 2, 2020, we will remember his common sense approach to speaking with his patients and his caring and compassionate attitude. As his colleagues, we wanted to show his family a small token of our condolences for their loss and remind them that we have all been touched by his spirit.
