Supporting Deaf Children @Haman Elementary

Hello, my name is Vivian, and I was born with severe-to-profound and bilateral hearing loss. I am lucky to be able to have access to healthcare services, however, out of the total 466 million people that are hard-of-hearing, 430 million in the world STILL DO NOT have access to hearing aids due to financial and geographic barriers.

I would like to change this. This is why I founded Sonic Scholars. My initiative is to cover expenses for individuals with hearing loss all over the world. Hearing aids are INCREDIBLY expensive; they can span from 1,000-8,000 dollars.

This fundraiser will donate all funds to Haman Elementary's Hard-of-Hearing/Deaf Program, which provides HoH/Deaf children from the Bay Area through specialized learning, audiological consultation, speech therapy, and support groups.
