Heart failure trouble

Hi I am looking for some help for me and my boyfriend for transportation to his doctor appointments and mine. He has heart failure and is getting worse. He needs a heart transplant and we don't have a car right now cuz it recently totaled. I am working a little but I can't work much because I have to help care for him which has left us struggling with everything financially to the point were barely covering rent. Were working with lawyers to get help with disability but it's coming up on a year now and we still haven't a clue as to when will happen. Any help would be a blessing appreciated more than words can express.
