Heart for Catherine

I met Catherine and Jim Fix in 2018. They are not only our farm mentors, neighbors and friends. Actually, more like family.

This hardworking couple would give the shirts off their back to help someone in need. Well, they are in need now.

Catherine’s heart is only working at 10% capacity. She was rushed to MUSC in Columbia on 3/13. She has now been transferred to MUSC in Charleston. She has been under intensive care, tests, etc.

Her current status is more testing while they plan for either a ventricular assist device while she waits for a heart transplant.

While they do have insurance, we all know insurance only covers so much. They also have a working farm, their teenage grandson to care for, and travel costs to and from the hospitals.

Please help me raise funds for this family in need.
