Heart ~N soul a Heart for Heather

I'm raising money as a requirement for a heart transplant for myself.

I have been dealing with heart failure since my heart attack and 3 strokes that happened on July 2, 2021.

On March 30, 2023, I received an LVAD (left ventricle assisted device) to help keep me alive. However, the heart failure has now progressed to the point of a heart transplant necessity.

The plan moving forward is to raise funds per Vanderbilt requirements to show I would be a good steward of the new heart after care, etc. Since I have no immediate family or a support system and because I have lost my insurance twice during this whole process, it is now left up to me.

I was adopted from India when I was 5 months old by a single lady who served as a missionary to India for 30 years. She died when I was 14 years of age and I have pretty much raised myself since then.

I relocated to Tennessee a few years ago, and life has happened with drastic changes.now I am in the health challenge of a lifetime. The doctors said I will need a tracheal reconstruction, but not until the heart transplant has taken place. I have to raise funds for caregivers, and also for the immuno-suppressant medication to help me with all anti-rejection scenarios that could possibly take place after the transplant.

I have chosen this scripture: 1Samuel 14:7 "Do all that is in your heart...Behold, I am with you heart and soul." to help me in this fight.

A heart for Heather. I'm with the Lord whatever He chooses, heart and soul. The goal has been raised because the requirements have been raised. No other reason
