Heart Surgery & Recovery for Alexis "Rosie" Feeler

My beautiful, smart and lovable daughter, Alexis, has been in the hospital since Friday 11/5/2021... what started out as a blood infection, has resulted in her needing heart valve replacement surgery, as soon as her blood is clear of the bacteria. A surgery date has been set for 11/17/2021. In the meantime, she will remain hospitalized, due to the seriousness of her condition. Anyone who's had the pleasure of meeting our Rosie, knows that she's a trooper, with a positive outlook on life, and a wickedly funny sense of humor. She truly is what's keeping her dad and I from falling apart. Her strength is inspiring. I will post updates as I get them and ask for prayers and if you're able to, donations to help cover her expenses. If the surgery has to be done through opening her chest, her recovery time is 3 months, keeping her from returning to work as a preschool teacher.
