Heart Surgery for Sox
Tax deductible
I’m trying to help a tiny little boy named Sox. He’s not mine, but I love him with my whole heart. He was taken into Chihuahua Rescue Indiana back in November and I’ve been following his journey ever since. I think about him all the time. He’s tiny, and precious, and perfect. He has a special little snuggle that will steal your heart.
Sox was supposed to be neutered and have a dental procedure, but he was found to have a serious heart murmur. He was examined by the cardiology team at Purdue University a couple weeks ago and they discovered a number of serious issues with his heart. I cried my eyes out. Along with medications, Sox will need a valvuloplasty to repair a damaged valve. The cost is expected to range between $4-5K, which is a tremendous expense for the rescue and far beyond what I’m able to cover on my own. Sox has begun treatment and will be getting his medications dialed in to help him right away, but in order for him to have his very best chance he will need the procedure.
He’s a young boy. He hasn’t even had a chance to live. I want to raise these funds and get him the help he needs. I want him to have his very best shot. Will you please help me? $4K is a lot of money, but I’ve seen the power of generosity work miracles for so many animals. I’m hoping I can count on all of you to make one happen for Sox. He’s a very special boy and he truly deserves it.
Please help however you can. Even the smallest donations are incredibly important with such a hefty goal. Of course shares are also important. It will take a lot of help from a lot of people to get Sox to where he needs to be. Please help get the word out. Anything you can do—you will have my deepest gratitude as this little man is so very dear to me.
Thank you! ❤️
