Heart Transplant Expenses for Sean Byrd

Hi, I’m Lisa Gardner. I’m starting this for my brother, Sean Byrd. Many of you know, he is 47, he has had several heart attacks over the last 5 years. He has a pacemaker and defribulator, has been in heart failure for quite some time and his heart function is down to around 10%. He is currently admitted to Duke at a Level 2 for heart transplant, awaiting a donor.

He is self employed and is unable

to earn income for the foreseeable future. He has been out of work a lot with his health already and is struggling. We are reaching out to see if anyone may be willing to help out financially, for travel and meal expenses, as well medical related expenses.
