Heart Transplant Expenses

Update!!!!!

Amy has officially been given the greatest gift HER NEW HEART! She is one of the most strong and amazing people I know, she is doing very well, she was in the hospital for about 2 weeks post transplant and has came through this like a trooper so far, EVERYONE at VANDERBILT HOSPITAL has been AMAZING and that’s truly an understatement.

She has been released and is now renting from there local hospitality house(which is really nice btw) she and her daughter will be relocated there for at the very least a few months. Amy had to have a full time caregiver post surg just to be with her if there is a need or she has a set back and that person is her daughter Kaitlyn.

Moving forward now all the tough financial stuff starts she has to maintain her residence in and also Kaitlyn has had to take a leave from her job to be with her mom and maintain her residence both back in Indiana, while also maintaining residence at the hospitality house in Nashville.

There are so many pieces to this crazy puzzle! So thank you to all who have given this far and please continue the prayers and if u felt led to donate in this chapter of her heart transplant recovery ❤️‍ it is so much appreciated!!

Hello my name is Misty Glover the life long best friend of Amy Railey and her family.

Amy is very close to being placed on the heart transplant list in Nashville Tenn at Vanderbilt hospital . Amy experienced a terrible infection in her heart about 4 years ago which led her heart to be weak and not functioning as it should.

So in the upcoming months Amy and her family will take on extra expenses for housing in Nashville while Amy recovers she has to stay in Nashville for 3 to 4 months post transplant along with maintaining her residence back here and making sure her son still has the things he needs. Any amount will help ! Thank you in Advance! Prayers are very much appreciated for not only Amy but her family as well.

UPDATE:

Amy has been officially approved for the transplant list!! This is very scary and exciting for Amy and her family! So moving forward now the real work begins, preparedness , financial support, fundraising and lots of prayers!
