Heart Transplant Help for Earl Klassen

After 4 open heart surgeries over the past 4 years Earl finally and miraculously got a heart. It's been a long road for him, his wife and now 7 year old son. For the past 3 1/2 years his travel bag sat by the door waiting for the call and when we were starting to think the call might never come, it came... Just like that. He was kept alive by an LVAD for those few years and despite some alarming setbacks and tense moments during and after the transplant, he is starting to recover after 2 months in the ICU at the Edmonton Heart Institute. Despite having saved up some money for this journey it just hasn't been enough. Due to the extended period of recovery, mounting expenses, and the inability for his wife to work, we are putting out the call for anyone who is willing to pitch in just a bit to help them out.
