Heart and Life Education in Turkey

Hi, Sunshines!
So I am much better asking for help for others, but I am beyond excited about this and feel like it is worth the ask.
I have been given an opportunity to go to Turkey in mid-April (12th thru the 25th), to join a caravan that will be in Istanbul and Konya. The intention is to journey on the path of Mevlana Rumi and to connect in with some amazing people who hold a lineage that I would not have the same type of access to here in the States. I am having a hard time articulating how much this part of the experience means to me, it feels like trying to express how the fish loves the water.
As if that was not enough, there is an extra part of this experience that does not necessarily live in the heart, as above, but it is the opportunity to experience a part of the human condition that I might not get to here. Turkey, as you know, is home to one of the largest communities of Syrian refugees. This is an opportunity for me to get a real world education about how communities work in conflict. Right now I am in school studying community development and I feel like this opportunity will give me more understanding of community than most of my formal education.
So the big ask, I have the ticket but need help funding a part of the trip. The money will be used for in-country travel, hotels, food, unforeseen extras and a few essentials that I need to purchase to get there.
My goal is to not only dive heart first but to also share my journey with the community when I come home. The events over the last year have only reinforced my feelings that the more we can "see" others and have a window into their world the more we can work towards positive change.
I can't tell you how thankful I am for the opportunity and for support (monetarily or good wishes)! I feel like this is one of those amazing moments right before you leap, your heart gets busted wide open and you come back fundamentally changed.
In love
