Heartbeats for Scott Colvin and Family
Donation protected
Please help support the Colvin Family. As many of you know Scott has suffered with heart issues for many years. He is very humble and we had to fight with him to ask for help. His words below will fill you in on his current situation. In addition, to medical bills and subsequential costs with travel and lodging while Scott receives treatment, your generosity will continue to help support his wife Jenifer and 5 children.

The results of the cardiac viability study were not favorable. The damage is too extensive to fix and a bypass would not yield the long-term outcome I am looking for. I am now being fitted for an electric life vest. This vest monitors my heart rhythms and if there is an adverse cardiac event, the device will discharge an electric shock to save my life and right my rhythms. This is only temporary and I have been referred to University of Rochester Medical Center. There, they will evaluate me and determine next course of action. URMC is top notch and my team here has the utmost confidence that my quality of life will improve and that a solution will be found. Thank you for filling me up with your boundless love, kindness and generosity of spirit. I am not out of danger by any means but I am confident that by the grace of God, I will persevere. Thank you again for you support. Please continue to lift me and my family up. ~Scott
