Heartbreaking Loss from Lahaina Fire

Hi, my name is Joenalyn and I'm starting this fundraiser for my family members who have suffered much loss in the recent Lahaina fire. Three separate homes were lost in this tragic event, one belonging to my sister and the other two homes succumbed by the fire belonging to two of my nephews. I cannot even begin to imagine what it would feel like to lose everything that you've worked so hard for in the blink of an eye and irreplaceable personal items turned into ashes.

I have not yet spoken to my sister personally, but I'm thankful to know that they are all safe. They are currently displaced staying with family and friends. But, what happens next?

I live on the island of Oahu and it breaks my heart knowing that my family on Maui is suffering mentally, emotionally and are probably physically exhausted as well. All I can do is pray for them and create this gofundme page.

My heart sincerely goes out to everyone affected by the fires and especially to those who may have lost a loved one.
