Heartbroken but Hopeful: Help Rebuild My Dream
Donation protected
As many of you are aware, my small business in downtown Grandview, Anthony's Decals was deeply impacted by the devastating fire that spread to my shop this morning. I am so grateful for the firefighters who worked tirelessly to contain the flames and prevent further damage to surrounding businesses on the block and did everything they could to try to save my shop. Despite their bravery and heroic efforts, the fire burned intensely, causing significant damage and resulting in the complete loss of my shop and all the equipment inside. During this incredibly difficult time, I am profoundly moved by the outpouring of support from our community.
In 2020, at just 17 years old, I started Anthony's Decals with nothing but passion, determination, and a dream. I have grown up in Grandview, and my family and I have been an active part of the Lower Valley community my entire life. My business was inspired by my parents, who are also small business owners in Grandview. Their guidance instilled in me a commitment to serving others. Anthony's Decals was created to help small businesses, schools, and groups in the community represent their brand proudly and bring their visions to life. What started in the dimly lit basement of my parents' home quickly grew into something bigger than I ever imagined, thanks to countless late nights, hard work, and unwavering community support.
After graduating from high school, I took the opportunity to expand my business and revitalize a building in the heart of downtown Grandview. From this space, Anthony's Decals became more than a print shop—it became part of the fabric of our community, supporting local events and offering custom apparel to individuals and organizations alike.
Today, my heart is heavy as I face the reality of this loss. But I am determined to rebuild again and bring Anthony's Decals back to serve the community I love so much.
I’ve been overwhelmed by so many messages of encouragement, prayers, and offers to help. I ask that you continue sending prayers and if you are able to, please donate to help me rebuild my small business and overcome this devastating loss. Donations will go directly toward replacing equipment, rebuilding the shop, and returning to doing what I love: serving Grandview and beyond.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support during this challenging time.
With love,
Anthony
