Fund Our Free Outdoor Neighborhood Pantry
The homeless are more vulnerable than ever. Through 24 hour outdoor pantries, we can provide what they need most: water, food, and PPE.
Eugene, Oregon has the largest per capita homeless population in the United States. In this time of COVID, the challenges they face have become even greater. Food and water are more scarce, and it is difficult for anyone to find PPE.
The Heart Pantry Project provides 24 hour access to essentials in highly visible, readily accessible places. Anyone may take what they need, or leave what they can.
These bright red, heart-shaped pantries are constructed by professional woodworkers and designed for heavy-duty outdoor use.
Your donations will be used to:
Pay for the construction of the pantries
Stock the pantries with essentials, especially with PPE
Pay for regular maintenance of the pantries as needed
The project is the work of the Visible Helpers, LLC, founded by Samuel Collins. Everyone involved is a volunteer; all funds will be used for the purposes listed above.
