Hearts for Harcus
Donation protected
The past few weeks have been a whirlwind for not only Harcus but his entire family. After a night of playing hockey and not feeling the greatest, Harcus, was admitted into the Royal Univeristy Hospital on February 18th.
When Harc was 17days old, Harc was diagnosed with aortic valve stenosis, and had to have a balloon valvulopasty. At that time, Baylee was informed that Harc would never be an athlete and that he should resign to becoming, a chess player. Well if you know Harc, that is NOT the case! At 16 months old, a valve replacement was required. 13 years later, Harc is not only a great kid but an incredible athlete full of passion and determination in EVERYTHING he does! During his hospital stay, they have discovered it is "time" to have the valve replaced again. Harc will be undergoing surgery at the Stollery Hospital in Edmonton and will be transferred out on Sunday March 11th and will be having his surgery on Tuesday March 13th. At this time, they are undetermined as to how long the process and recovery will be. Baylee has been away from work for the past few weeks and will continue to do so, until Harc is fully recovered. We are planning a couple other family events and will post once date and time are finalized. Please feel free to support Harc and his family in any way possible. It's greatly appreciated!
