Denise’s Heart Transplant Journey

Hello everyone,

 

My name is Jenna, and I'm doing a fundraiser for my mom Denise so that she can finally get the new heart she deserves. Anyone who knows my mom knows she's been suffering from medical issues with her heart since 1998. She has gone through numerous surgeries, procedures and medication trials, and unfortunately, continues to struggle with her heart issues. During this time, my dad has worked very hard trying to support them and pay for the accumulated medical costs, and now faced with a bigger crisis. They are now troubled with having to relocate to California so that my mom can receive her heart transplant, this includes astronomical insurance premiums, high deductibles, out-of-network costs, an emergency air flight, renting a place in Los Angeles, upkeeping their home in Florida, basic living expenses, and so much more. My mom has fought hard her entire life, physically and emotionally. I have never met someone as strong and beautiful as her, especially after all that she has been through. We are hoping to raise enough money for her to cover these expenses. I thank everyone in advance for their generosity and helping share her story.
