Heart to Heart

As most of you already know, our beloved friend, brother, father and husband, Mikey, is fighting to recover from his heart surgery. For those of you who do not already know, Mikey was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and an enlarged heart a few years ago which resulted in having a pacemaker put into his heart. At the young age of 35, just a few days ago, Mikey underwent open heart surgery. The doctors at Stanford Hospital put in an Lvad pump on both sides of his heart and he is likely going to be placed on the transplant list as long as he is approved by the board of surgery. He is currently in ICU under sedation and is expected to be there for at least three more weeks. But this is only the beginning. There is still a very long road ahead for Mikey and his wife Kelley and their two young children. I am here today to ask all of you who love this family to please come together and help any way you can. Whether it's contributing a small amount of money or making meals for Kelley and the kids. She is missing work to be with her family and has been the only source of income for some time now. She will likely kill me for doing this, but I know it's the right thing to stand together and be there for our friends. Love, prayers, healing vibes, and PMA to our dear friend and his family.
