Help Western NC Families Stay Warm After Hurricane Helene

HVAC systems serve as the primary or sole source of heat for many homes in Western NC. Countless numbers of those systems have been damaged by flooding and other conditions created by Hurricane Helene. Days, weeks, even months will pass before some WNC residents can have their HVAC systems repaired or replaced as needed. There will be many homes in Western North Carolina in need of alternative heating methods.

Your donation to this tax deductible fund will help to supply:

- Portable electric space heaters

- Portable propane heaters

- Propane

- Generators

$26 = 1 electric space heater for a Western NC family in need

$52 = 2 electric space heaters for a Western NC family in need

$104 = 4 electric space heaters for a Western NC family in need

$260 = 10 electric space heaters for Western NC families in need

$520 = 26 electric space heaters or a small generator for Western NC families in need

$1,040 = 40 electric space heaters or 2 small generators for Western NC families in need

$2,600 = 100 electric space heaters or 5 small generators for Western NC families in need

We will work with County Emergency Managers, other relief organizations, and local contractors to identify needs and deliver heating resources to Western NC homes in need.

There will be no administrative fees associated with this effort. 100% of the $ contributed to this fund will be used to purchase heating supplies for Western NC families in need. All donations are tax deductible and will be sent directly to Haywood Christian Ministry (https://hcmnc.org/), an established 501(c)(3) organization located in Haywood County, NC. The heaters and heating supplies will be made available to residents of multiple counties in Western NC affected by Hurricane Helene.
