Heater Help

Hello! My name is Melanie. I am a Kindergarten teacher at a neighborhood school. I have been teaching for thirty years now. Every year there is a new group of sweet, happy children to work with and care for. I enjoy my job and watching my students grow and learn.

This year during parent -teacher conferences I found out I have a student without central heat in the house. My student has a debilitating disease and needs heat in order to keep joints warm so that body movement is possible.

The family cannot afford to get their in house heater fixed. They use a portable plug in heater but unplug it at bedtime. I need my student to be able to stay warm all night in order to make movement easier.
