Regardless of which boat you work on, I don't think there's a single person on Cairns Marlin Marina who doesn't know Heath Cuskelly and how much of a legend he is.

Heath is and has always been the most supportive, caring & strong man I know. He's always been there for the entire crew and helped raise most of them.

Whether you know Heath from Experience Co, Raging Thunder, Down Under, Shoreline or any facet of the Cairns Tourism Industry, you know in what high regard this man is held.

Heath was struggling with severe headaches for quite some time. He pushed hard for a diagnosis recently which revealed a 3cm benign tumour on his brain behind his left ear. The only option to remove is surgery, this kind of specialist operation requires flying to Brisbane to see a neurosurgeon and it doesn’t come without some harsh side effects.

I know there will be many people right now that want to help Heath and show their support; a great place to start is by donating.

No single person should ever have to make medical choices based on financial factors; this page aims to ease this burden. Let's help Heath by letting him focus on his family and appointments and leave the rest to us.

There are lots of outside costs to come with surgery, such as: flights, recovery, child care, time of work, medications & family support.

Heath would never ask a single person to donate, and this page was not his idea but I know Heath would do everything in his power to help any of us. We can't stop this from happening, but we can make it as smooth as possible for him and his family.
