Heather and Kennedy

Donation protected
Heather's family was much larger than blood relatives. From Gateway, Red Robin, The Eagles, CSU and all the places in-between she made friends everywhere she went.    She had a grin for, and conversation with, everyone she met. Lots of conversation! Her mom and I always say "Once she learned to talk she never stopped".

Then the shooting happened.  Her friends died and more were injured, as was she. Her body healed and she quickly learned to live without two of her fingers.  How many of us exchanged "high threes" with her?

The brightest light in her life was her daughter Kennedy. Always laughing, babbling, spinning in circles and laughing again.  She and her father Kyle are going to have a long hard time recovering and moving on.

We're asking for your help for two things: first to provide a memorial service for all her friends and family and next to help Kennedy.

She'll have to celebrate her third birthday next month without her momma.  We need to help her dad shoulder the load.  A  single parent with limited resources, he will be making major changes in his life for Kennedy.  We all know how tough and expensive parenthood is; daycare to school, providing for more than basic needs,  eventually college.  A whole life without her momma.

Heather's mom Viki and I will be making final arrangements and will update everyone personally and through the fb page - Helping Heather Heal.  The same page we set up 5 years ago.

Thank you all for your love and prayers.
