Christmas morning, a time meant for joy and love, became a hollow echo of what it once was, with news that the warmest light in our lives was put out. On December 24th, 2023, our worlds were rocked by the unexpected and untimely death of Heather Craig, a 47-year-old mother, daughter, and friend. She leaves behind three grieving daughters - Nicole, Kiana, and Samantha - who are scrambling to pick up the pieces during this time.

Heather was the embodiment of warmth and joy. She was the most vibrant person in any room, with laughter that filled any space she occupied. Just hearing her voice felt like home. Life could be tough, but she was always tougher - she fought tooth and nail to protect everyone around her, especially her elderly parents, Chuck and Judy. Unfortunately, between Chuck's strokes and Judy's dementia, they have been unable to live independently for many years. The girls must now not only cope with their mother’s passing but also figure out how to support their grandparents.

Without the ability to work due to the level of care her parents needed, Heather had no savings, no life insurance, and no plan for this unforeseen tragedy. As women in their late 20s and early 30s, none of her girls had the life experience or financial preparations to navigate this difficult situation.

We are reaching out to our friends, families, communities, and even strangers to come together and lift up these girls as they try to find the air to breathe again. All funds raised will go towards reuniting her daughters, supporting their aging grandparents, alleviating the burden of financial strain as they step away from work, and covering the costs of Heather's memorial and funeral.
