Heather Gilpin Accident Fund
Donation protected

On March 7th, twenty-two year old Heather Gilpin was in a terrible car accident in Kalispell, Montana. The car she was driving slid out of control into oncoming traffic, and was hit broadside on the passenger doors by a truck traveling the opposite direction. She had to be removed from the vehicle by firefighters using the Jaws of Life, and it was immediately apparent that she had serious injuries.
Heather sustained a fractured pelvis, fractures in the lumbar area of her back, had whiplash, a concussion, lacerations to her head & leg, and a tremendous amount of bruising. At the hospital, she received 46 stitches in her head and 13 in her leg, but the obvious injuries are the least of Heather's concerns.
Heather has had difficulty controlling her right arm and leg. She has an inoperable blood clot at the base of her brain, part of which traveled to her brain resulting in a stroke. Heather may have some brain damage due to the stroke, but it is unclear what the long term affects will be at this point.
Heather is facing serious hardships in her recovery including many medical bills for treatment and therapy. We ask that anyone who cares for Heather would donate to help relieve some of this burden.
From Heather's mother Lorene-
"We know God is so faithful and that he sees the whole picture and that he has his hand upon Heather."
