Heather Lundeen & Family’s Medical- Monthly Bills

Donation protected
Hello to all, and thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Devin, and I am fundraising for my sister, Heather Lundeen. For those unaware of who Heather is, she is one of the kindest-hearted people anybody would be fortunate to have in their life. Heather is the type of person who would get you that cup of coffee just because you're too lazy to get up, or would pick you up from the airport 3 hours away because your other plans fell through. Heather is that person for many people who they know will be there when all else fails. That kind of thing isn't seen much anymore today, and knowing she keeps it alive makes me proud to call her my big sister. Heather works in healthcare as a CNA, taking care of elderly and disabled persons at their homes, and loves being the helpful person they need.
Unfortunately, it seems good things don't always happen to good people. Heather has always wanted to be a mother. She has tried several times throughout her life up to this point, having miscarriages every time. She has had several boyfriends who promised her the world. Promises of children, growing old together, marriage, and protection. Instead, she received nothing but beatings, adultery, and debt. Luckily Heather has found Brian, a person who treats her with the respect and love she has always deserved. Brian has two children from a previous marriage that she loves with all of her heart and treats them as if they were their own mother. She gets them up for school, makes them lunches, brings them to school, picks them up, helps them with any issues, and gives them all of her when needed. This is just who Heather is; no matter the hoops she always has to jump through. This brings me to why I am asking for any help from all friends, family, acquaintances, and strangers.
Heather has been diagnosed with endometrial cancer in her Uterus. She had tried a medication that could have eradicated it, but unfortunately, it didn’t help her. She had the option to either try to treat it further, by which time, if not successful, it could spread to other parts of her body and become untreatable, and the option to have a hysterectomy and lose that hope of having a child of her own. The risk being so high trying to treat it, she went with the decision to have a hysterectomy. This has been extremely difficult to see her go through the pain of realizing she will never get to live that dream of hers. Heather is the best mother to Brian’s children and always will be. But having to accept the loss of possibilities you’ve forever dreamt of is something I can’t even fathom. As Heather’s brother, I always act like she is just the worst (as brothers do), and she just loves me all the more for it. Heather is as great a sister as I could have ever asked for, and seeing her go through this is heartbreaking to say the least.
I am asking for any donations to help Heather get through this. She has hysterectomy surgery on December 28th, 2022 and will be out of work (and pay) for eight weeks. She has constantly been having panic attacks about how she will pay for the hospital bills and all other bills like groceries, car payments, emergency funds, and just giving the children a good Christmas. Brian will be working all the overtime he can, but that will unfortunately not even be close to enough. I ask anybody out there who has an extra $1, $5, $10 or more to please donate to help her and her family as she goes through one of the most challenging times in her life.
Thank you so much for reading this and donating if you are able! Heather is a warm, calming fire in a cold, dark world. Please help us keep it aflame.
