Heather needs electrolysis

Short version: Heather needs cash to pay for permanent facial hair removal, which is really expensive! She is a student living under the poverty line, & can't work a job on the side due to her disability. Every dollar helps!
Long version: Hi. Let me tell you a story about being a woman living with permanent visible beard shadow:
It sucks.
... I'm over 3 years into being on female hormones & publicly living life as a woman. It's fantastic and I'm living life as my full, authentic self.
But one thing is still getting in the way: facial hair. Changing your hormones doesn't get rid of it - once you get it, you're stuck with it. And boy, do I have a lot. That's why I'm asking for your help.
Having visible facial hair can be a real danger when you're a trans woman. The world is already looking for reasons to deny your identity or harass you based on arbitrary standards of what a woman should or shouldn't look like. Make-up only works so well and for so long. It is not a real solution to the problem.
The fundraising goal you see is based on the price of 20 hours of facial electrolysis (permanent hair removal). This amount will not get rid of all my facial hair, but it will make a significant, meaningful reduction in the spots that need it the most.
I'm asking for your help with this because:
1. I'm a student with no extra income.
2. I'm currently living under the poverty line.
3. I am newly disabled with post-viral chronic fatigue, which means I physically can't work a job on the side. There is no way for me to come up with extra "spending money", no matter how badly I need it.
Your support will directly help improve the quality of my daily life, and you'll have my eternal gratitude.
