Rebuilding Hope: Support Heather Norton & Family
Donation protected
On Friday, September 27th, my cousin Heather Norton and her youngest son were evacuated from their home in Eastern Tennessee as Hurricane Helene brought relentless rain. The river behind their house quickly swelled, and within hours, floodwaters completely surrounded their home, making it impossible to leave by car. As the water rose, the foundation of their home began to fail. Emergency services were called, and Heather, her son, and their family cats were rescued by boat.
The next day, Heather returned, hoping to retrieve some belongings, only to be met with devastation. Her car was submerged, and all that remained of their home was the rear steps and ramp. In just a matter of hours, everything was gone. Heather and her family have lost not just their house but their sense of security, and now they face the daunting task of rebuilding from nothing.
Any support, whether through donations or simply sharing their story, will make a world of difference as they try to start over after this unimaginable loss.
Funds raised through this donation page will go directly to Heather and her family to help clear debris, rebuild their home, restock essential items, and purchase a new car. Your support will make an immense difference as they work to rebuild their lives after this devastating loss. Thank you for your generosity and kindness during this difficult time.
