Help to raise funds for Hydrotherapy and Physio.

Hi, my name is Heather.

I'm 31 years old and have been diagnosed with both Fibromyalgia and ME/CFS, along with many other connected health conditions.

I am slowly learning all I can about my conditions whilst seeking healthcare through the NHS. I have been out of work now coming up to four years, although these health issues began many years ago I was able to persist up until this point. During those days I worked as a professional touring musician, played in two bands regularly rehearsing and worked days in a Music Composing agency. I loved my life, I still do but one thing I have learnt is that nothing is constant... I am learning to accept that in order to proceed forwards I must stop and slow and repair. The NHS has an incredible waiting list, seeking healthcare is not easy and having applied for PIP over two years ago, I am nearing the final stages, but this gives no indicaton of a timeline and I feel I have reached a great deal of fact checked information and medical knowledge at home over the years to proceed with the two highest doctor recommended treatments now. I have found most improvements around my illness have come from the help of those around me, be it neighbours, friends, strangers or family. Learning to ask for help is no easy feat but it has in turn, saved my life. So I thought I would finally create a gofundme and face that fear of asking for help, knowing full well when I am well enough to, I will without a doubt pay it forward.
