In Memory of Heather Sams

Hi, my name is Meghan Hurley, and my best friend passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 after fighting for almost a year against colorectal cancer. She is survived by her daughter and two sons. I'm raising funds to help with cremation services and legal fees which will be incurred to resolve her estate.

Heather was beautiful, hilarious, and brilliant. She was an incredible mother, amazing friend, stunning actress, and one hell of a cook and baker. She was also an avid supporter and patron of the craft beer community and her local theatre community. She gave countless hours of her time and talents to these communities, and her presence in both will be deeply missed.

Heather believed until the very end that she would beat cancer, which meant that she was not able to finalize her affairs. We will have a happy celebration in her honor, as was her wish, once we can get past these hurdles. This fundraiser will allow us to minimize the stress and financial obligations on her children's father and her loved ones.

Any extra funds will go to support her children. Thank you so much for loving this beautiful soul.
