Heather Sue’s Medical Fund

While on vacation in Florida, Heather Sue suffered a sudden stroke and had to be admitted to the hospital. She had to have emergency surgery to remove a portion of her skull so that her brain had room to swell. She has to have a feeding tube, and will need to relearn how to do many tasks. Heather is going to have a long road to recovery and will need to remain in Florida until the doctors approve her travel home. She will be unable to work, and unable to be in the comfort of her own home.

Heather Sue is an angel that walks among us. She brings joy to those around her and is always ready with a kind word or a laugh. She has always felt called to help others; she has been a foster parent, an organ donor, an ally for the less fortunate, and a friend to all. She is the best friend, coworker, sister, partner, cat-mom, and daughter. It’s our turn to step up and help Heather.
