Heather's Prosthetic Leg Fund
Donation protected
On February 9, 2017 Heather was in a major car accident due to her boyfriend, at the time, recklessly driving because he was mad another driver had cut him off. Going 65 miles an hour, he slammed into the back of a stopped vehicle. He walked away with a few scratches. Her daughter Bayleigh (age 9) was in the back seat and sustained a broken clavicle. Heather broke her right clavicle and shoulder, a few ribs, her pelvis in 3 places, both knee caps, left heal, right tibia and fibula and shattered her right foot. She's undergone a total of 7 surgeries to repair both knees and feet, including 3 surgeries in the past 5 days. Just recently, she was informed that 2 toes needed to be removed because they were completely dead. On Sunday, May 21, she had a scheduled surgery to removed muscle from her thigh to try to repair her foot and help the blood cells in her foot to be come active. Doctors went in and noticed her veins were too thin and small and couldn't do the procedure. In a result, her lower right leg is going to be needed to be amputated on Wednesday, May 24. Bills are piling up and now she has to save for a prosthetic leg in order to be able to walk and live life normally again.
Thank you for the donations. She's got a huge prayer circle and prayer warriors and we are so blessed.
Anything is apprecriated in order to get her up her toes again. Thank you
