As some of you may know, Heather Dempsey was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year, and will be undergoing treaments in the upcoming months. Due to her rigorous treatment schedule, Heather has had to take a medical leave of absence from her work at Carmel Elementary School. This leave is unpaid, and as you can imagine, will place an enormous financial burden on her and her family. Heather is one of the hardest working people I know, and also one of the most caring. She has not asked for this page to be set up, however, I know how many people have asked the question "What can I do to help?", and here's one way we can help alleviate some of the stress her and her family will be under while she fights cancer.
