It's the time of year for paying it forward and giving a helping hand to those less fortunate than ourselves. This young wife ,mother and daughter of a friend of mine just recently learned of a recurrent cancer that she had successfully fought off for 6 years.
Heather underwent surgery to remove the aggressive tumor in her right lung on 12/10/14 and is currently recovering at Mobile Infirmary in Mobile, Alabama.
Heather epitomizes the words faith, strength and courage.
The near future brings a plethora of doctors visits, medications, tests, treatments, travel, childcare ..not to mention providing a memorable Christmas for her young children.
Please find it in your heart to make a donation, no matter how small, to this beautiful family as they go through one of the toughest battles of their life.

Heather's FB post: "Well friends I will not be celebrating 7 years cancer free. It is back! It is in my left lung again and is about 5cm. Do NOT comment sorry, hate it, or you will pray for me. Instead, put down your phone, tablet, laptop, or whatever you may be reading this on and pray. Pray for you family and all the wonderful blessings we overlook everyday. Then hug, love, call, play, and SHOW your family how much you really care! Let go of bitterness and forgive. Let go of objects and learn to value what is NOT replaceable. I do not know why this is happening again. I can assure you there is a purpose. Cancer changed my life for the better both times, so I can only imagine the wonderful things in store this go around. Live, love, and laugh often, because both yours and my life could be worse!!!!
